I have been practicing yoga for golfers for about 4 months now. I started with the par level and have progressed to the birdie level. It is remarkable how much flexibility I have gained. Thanks, Katherine for your advice! Since the beginning of the year, I have made practicing yoga a routine, at least three times a week as recommended. I have already noticed how it is helping with my game. I have been able to practice golf for much longer durations and much more often. I have been able to practise for five consecutive days for an average of two and a half hours a day! Haven't been able to do that before! Not only that, but when I get the swing mechanics working, I am hitting it almost 10 yards further than before. I am very excited about what yoga can do for my game as I continue working at it. I read your 'Yoga for Golfers' book over the weekend, and I am really impressed with it! Your explanation of the relationship between the muscles of the body used in the various elements of the golf swing is outstanding. On page 27, your explanation of the forces on the spine during a golf swing has the precision of an engineer's writing! One wonders what your background is from this. (I mention this since I retired from Honeywell recently as a mechanical engineer.) Already, I can tell that yoga is going to be a very good for me! I can do most of the exercises at the birdie level... Great book!

Katherine, I started using your video about 3 weeks ago. I turn 49 in April and all of a sudden I'm playing the best golf of my life. Some ohter things are occurring as well. I am losing inches around my mid section. I have a lot more energy and I feel better. I now know what it feels like to stand with the correct posture and I'm doing so. I am healthier. I travel over 100 thousand air miles per year and find it very difficult to always find good work out facilities. All I do now is get up a half hour earlier and do 'Yoga for Golfers.' Have you thought about a product for people who travel a lot? It could be something similar to your poster, but would fit in a day timer. You could market a package that would include a video and a travel reference guide to take out on the road. Just an idea. In closing , thank you for developing this great procut. It has already had a profound impact on my life. Thanks.

'Yoga for Golfers' has been the single-most important thing I have done for my golf game without actually holding on to a club. Since starting with the program, I have noticed significant improvements in my flexibility, rotation, balance and core strength. This has translated into a smoother more accurate swing and longer distance. I have also found that I am more focused and centered on the golf course which in turn has led to improved scoring. What's really gratifying is that my playing partners and my golf pro have have all commented on the improvements as well....
