what are YFG teachers saying about the program? read on: "I have been teaching yoga for five years and became certified as an Integrative Yoga Therapist in 2007. My growing 'nitch' seems to be with injured athletes or amateur athletes working to improve their performance and stay injury free. After working with many golfers I decided I would like to have yoga training specifically geared for the golfer. Since I had found Katherine's book to be of such great help I decided to look her up on the internet and I found her training. I knew instantly this was the training for me. I was certainly not disappointed! Katherine is a gifted teacher, with a caring open personality and a true knowledge of yoga and golf. She is passionate about both and very eager to share and support her students. Yoga for Golfers is changing my whole business in a very exciting way. I have almost completed my first six weeks class at a local fitness center and will be starting another class in a few weeks. My training will have paid for itself with these two classes! My students love the new poses and information that I am bringing to them from my YFG training. I feel so much more confident with this wonderful tool box of ideas! It is very rewarding to have the golf specific poses to help my golfers! My hope is that Katherine will have an advanced teacher training someday! I will certainly sign up! Susan Bryant RYT, CYT "Morning Katherine - I had my first YFG session yesterday - the first of the six in the program I've scheduled. I had 12 people - 9 who never did yoga before, 5 over the age of 50. I LOVED IT!!!! Got lots ot great feedback and the yoga studio in Westfield is already talking about another go around! So thank you for your wonderful program !" "I had my first workshop Sunday Jan. 29th and it was a great success. I had eight students for an hour and a half class. Their ages were from 26 to 58 and everyone had a great time. The students were so enthusiastic the people that own the spa wanted to know when I would be available to hold regular classes. Take Care." -Fred Yoga for Golfers is a critical part of our instruction program at Desert Mountain. I refer all my clients to take this class. - Jim Deiters, Class A, PGA Professional |
